This section contains information to assist you organize your visit, such as an overview of venue accessibility and services available to accommodate guests with a variety of requirements.

EVENT INFORMATION 

Detailed access information about how the space at each venue will be set up will be provided closer to the date.

TICKETS

All venues offer wheelchair spaces in designated areas. These are limited and reserved on a first come-first served basis.

Personal Assistant tickets are available for anyone who requires support to attend the event. These should be requested in advance. For specific access requests, please email inclusion@womex.com before buying your ticket.

VENUE INFORMATION

TAMPERE HALL 

ADDRESS: Yliopistonkatu 55, 33100 Tampere

All of Tampere Hall’s conference facilities and public areas are wheelchair-accessible. There are threshold ramps in all doorways, and the entrances have automatic doors. Please see here for further visualized information about the entrances and parking possibilities.

ARTHOUSE CINEMA NIAGARA

ADDRESS: Kehräsaari B B, 33200 Tampere

The cinema offers no automatic doors and the staff will assist in the limited accessible entrance. However accessible toilets and an induction loop in the cinema are provided. Limited space is offered for wheelchair spaces and their accompanying person and needs to be arranged beforehand via pek@elokuvakeskus.fi

TAVARA-ASEMA

ADDRESS: Ratapihankatu 33, 33100 Tampere

Tavara-asema ensures accessibility to the entrance, cloakroom, and the entire main floor. Additionally, wheelchair accessible toilets and gender-neutral toilets are available on the main floor. There is currently no quiet room/space in the building and no lifts leading to the second floor.
