Ten-woman strong, Franco-Argentinian tango orchestra that since its creation in 2003 has performed countless concerts, burgeoning out from the clubs of their Paris base, across prestigious national theatre stages, further to European festivals of both world music and classical genres, on to North Africa and their now regular tours of Argentina. Led by pianist and composer, Andrea Marsili, Fleurs Noires delivers a captivatingly energetic contemporary tango, consistently devising new concepts, collaborating with renowned dance troupes and inviting leading international tango musicians to create with them. Since 2022 they have been working on the presentation of their fourth album, Tangos en Aleph, featuring prominent guest artists from the world of Argentinian tango, with rhythmic underpinning from percussionist Minino Garay, characteristic vocal interpretations from Aureliano Marin and Melingo, and the improvisational skills of legendary guitarist, Tomás Gubitsch.
